How we verify events

Events in Lombok move often: a full moon shifts a ceremony, rain moves a race, a venue changes its party night. This is how we keep dates honest.

Where listings come from

Our event bot reads public sources every day, such as organiser and venue pages, ticket sites and tourism pages. Organisers can also send us their events. New events from the bot are reviewed before they appear.

What "Dates verified" means

An event shows ✓ Dates verified {date} with the organiser or with an official source when, within the last 14 days, we confirmed its date and time on the organiser's own page or channel, an official page (such as the venue, ticket seller or a government tourism page), or directly with the organiser.

After 14 days without a fresh check, the badge changes to a plain Unverified. That does not mean the event is wrong, only that we have not re-checked it lately.

Changes, cancellations and ended events

When an event is cancelled, postponed or moved, we mark it on its page instead of removing it. Past events stay online marked "This event has ended", with a link to the next edition when there is one.

Always confirm before you go

Times and prices can change at short notice. Check with the organiser before you travel or buy tickets.

Spot a mistake?

Organisers and visitors can email marketing@lombokevents.com with a correction. We act on it within 2 working days. See also our terms.
